You absolutely should. Just be aware, his novels are broken up into three "trilogies" and each is stylistically and thematically distinct so if you don't like one of them, try another. I put "trilogies" in quotation marks because, in general, one novel in a trilogy doesn't lead..

Gibson is one of the few authors whose books I buy sight unseen on pure faith. He hasn't disappointed me yet. I remember discovering him in the long gone Omni Magazine back in the early 80s.
