… literally attacked us. Putin is pretty much the only world leader Trump hasn't disparage in any way. Trump is doing his best to destroy the free press. How does this not add up to there at least there being a strong possibility of treason for you? — Lee Potts ? (@LeePottsPoet) July 16, 2018
So let's see, almost every action Trump has taken is exactly what would help further Putin's strategic goals of dividing the US and weakening long-term Western alliances and relationships. He will be meeting with Putin alone tomorrow days after our DoJ has shown that Russia,,, — Lee Potts ? (@LeePottsPoet) July 16, 2018
The 71 year-old man baby, loathed the world over, called the European Union a foe.I beg to differ. The United States’ biggest foe right now, is Donald Trump. https://t.co/Obx6rLHuxw — Ana Navarro (@ananavarro) July 15, 2018
We’ve got to assume that #Putin has tons of hidden financial, political and other information on .@realDonaldTrump, ranging from the merely interesting to the explosively damaging. I’ve covered many presidents; never has one been so PERSONALLY vulnerable to another world leader. — Howard Fineman (@howardfineman) July 16, 2018
Sometimes I worry everyone has muted me because my trump/poetry tweet ratio is too high. — Lee Potts ? (@LeePottsPoet) July 16, 2018
Whew! As long as it not too much anti-Trump tweeting I think I'm safe. — Lee Potts ? (@LeePottsPoet) July 16, 2018
Just two weeks after the massacre of journalists in Maryland, Trump says he *understands* the hatred of journalists because they're "the enemy of the people." The man is grotesque, despicable, risible, troglodytic, traitorous, obscene… I'm out of words. Simply put, he's a turd. https://t.co/MvJzIVuTIE — Seth Abramson (@SethAbramson) July 15, 2018
“When the President attacks freedom of the press, he is by definition attacking the Constitution – you know that document that forms the basis for the United States and he swore to uphold. Committing this act on foreign soil only adds to the disgrace.” ~ Dan Rather Too many so-called patriots are perfectly okay with Trump’s treatment of the press. They don’t understand the role that the press plays in our democracy. They don’t understand that the free press is a safeguard put in place by the Constitution to hold those in power accountable. It is not meant to be the president’s PR department.

Trump is meeting with Putin without any Americans in the room.– after it's been proven that Putin helped him win– while he's under investigation for collusion, obstruction and treason– and the GOP is enabling and helping him– this is how you know to never vote for GOP again — John Oberlin (@OMGno2trump) July 15, 2018
